1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BusPath Pro (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. The Service is operated by the BusPath team and provides real-time bus tracking, route management, and booking lookup functionality for tour operators, drivers, and passengers in Reykjavík, Iceland.
2. Use of the Service
The Service is provided for the purpose of tracking buses, planning routes, and looking up booking information. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of the Service by, any third party. You may not misuse the Service by introducing viruses, trojans, or other malicious code, or by attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
3. Operator and Driver Accounts
Tour operators and drivers access the Service through accounts granted by their company administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify your administrator or the BusPath team immediately.
4. Passenger Use
Passengers may use the public booking lookup portal to find their pickup stop and track their assigned bus in real time. Passenger access requires a valid booking number provided by the tour operator. Real-time bus location and estimated arrival times are provided for informational purposes only and may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable due to GPS, network, or device limitations. Passengers should always follow the instructions provided by their tour operator and driver.
5. Bookings and Tour Operations
The Service facilitates the lookup and management of bookings but does not sell, process, or guarantee any tour, ticket, or transportation service. All bookings, payments, and tour-related obligations are governed by the terms of the respective tour operator. BusPath Pro is not a party to any booking contract between a passenger and a tour operator and accepts no responsibility for the fulfillment, cancellation, or quality of any tour service.
6. GPS and Tracking Data
Bus location data is collected from GPS devices installed on operator vehicles. While we strive to provide accurate and timely tracking information, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any location, speed, or arrival time data displayed through the Service. Such data is provided "as is" and may be affected by technical limitations, signal availability, or other factors beyond our control.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, branding, and materials provided through the Service are the property of the BusPath team or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the BusPath team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages for missed tours, delayed pickups, lost bookings, or any other claim related to the accuracy or availability of tracking information. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
